In the quaint, rural town of Tsumagoi-chou, Kouta finds himself as the reluctant heir to the Mikomori shrine. Once a bustling area, the town has been struggling to regain its former glory. Kouta, however, has his sights set on a different future—becoming a civil servant after graduation, showing little interest in taking over the family shrine.
Life takes an unexpected turn when Kouta's widowed father mentions marrying a young girl, only to vanish mysteriously soon after. The young girl, Erina, along with her younger sister Motoka, comes to live with Kouta. With the support of his childhood friend Mio and a few loyal shrine devotees, they manage to keep their lives on track amidst the chaos.
The plot thickens when Erina brings home another girl named Mai, who boldly declares herself as Kouta's fiancée. As tensions and emotions escalate, the situation spirals into unexpected territory, with Erina boldly demanding that Kouta get her pregnant. This shocking twist leaves Kouta navigating a complex web of relationships and responsibilities.
