During the Taisho era, Mikagura Tokito ran a successful detective agency, cracking numerous cases. But one day, he vanished under mysterious circumstances, believed to be involved in an accident. His devoted colleagues, Tomoe, Shigeno, and Chizuru, were consumed with worry, desperate to uncover what had happened to him. When Shigeno's older brother claimed to have spotted Tokito at a church abroad, the trio embarked on a journey, fueled by hope to reunite with their mentor.
Upon reaching the church, they were met with a grim discovery—not Tokito, but the lifeless body of a priest, shockingly mutilated with his arms severed. Convinced that the priest's brutal murder was connected to Tokito's disappearance, they delved into the investigation. Their quest for answers took a dangerous turn when they were suddenly attacked by a group of men.
