Based on the game by Front Wing, this episode kicks off as summer break begins. Jinno Naoto and Manabe Rika finally confess their long-held childhood feelings for each other and start dating. But their newfound happiness is quickly threatened when a mysterious boy named Asmodeus appears out of nowhere. Claiming to be a devil, he attempts to snatch Rika away. Naoto does everything he can to protect her, but he's powerless against Asmodeus's demonic strength. Just when all hope seems lost, a girl named Luvriel, who introduces herself as an angel, swoops in to save the day.
With Luvriel injured from the battle, the trio seeks refuge to tend to her wounds. It's then that Luvriel drops a bombshell: angels from Heaven and devils from Hell have been locked in an eternal conflict, and the devil is sure to strike again. Having lost her powers in the fight, Luvriel turns to Rika for help. Meanwhile, the weakened Asmodeus hasn't given up either. He seizes an opportunity when Otonashi Meimi, Naoto's jealous classmate, stumbles upon Naoto confessing his love to Rika. Preying on her envy, Asmodeus possesses Meimi, transforming her into the evil heroine Misty, and sends her to attack Rika once more. In response, Luvriel empowers Rika, turning her into Sei Tenshi Djibril, to face off against this new threat.
