During the Taisho era, Mikagura Tokito ran a successful detective agency known for cracking numerous cases. One day, he vanished under mysterious circumstances, supposedly due to an accident. His devoted colleagues, Tomoe, Shigeno, and Chizuru, were consumed with worry and desperate for answers about his fate. When Shigeno's older brother claimed to have spotted Tokito at a church overseas, the trio set off on a journey, clinging to the hope of reuniting with their beloved director.
Upon arriving at the church, they were met with a gruesome discovery: the lifeless body of a priest, his arms brutally severed. Convinced that this horrific murder was connected to Tokito's disappearance, they plunged into an investigation. But their quest for the truth took a dangerous turn when they were suddenly ambushed by unknown assailants. Caught in a perilous situation, Tomoe, Shigeno, and Chizuru pressed on in their search for Tokito, but the looming question remained—will they ever find him?
