A year had flown by since the destruction of the Chaos Arena, and now Asagi and Sakura found themselves wandering down an abandoned street on a man-made island floating atop Tokyo Bay. This colossal, box-shaped landmass, dubbed the "Tokyo Kingdom," had been constructed by the government with high hopes of turning it into a bustling second city center at sea. However, the island had failed to draw in businesses and remained largely deserted.
The only way to reach the Tokyo Kingdom was via the 10-kilometer bridge connecting it to Honshu Island. Unfortunately, this narrow passage had become a gateway for the denizens of hell, attracting anarchists, criminals, and illegal immigrants to the island. As a result, the streets of this sea-bound city had transformed into a notorious hotspot for danger and chaos.
Despite the desolate appearance, a semblance of order still existed within this breeding ground for crime. At the heart of the island lay a business district, alongside one of Asia's most infamous red-light districts. Surviving in such a place required more than just strength; it demanded a careful choice of allies and an unwavering vigilance.
