Based on a game by ivory (Janis), the story follows Makihara Kousuke, who steps in as the temporary janitor at the women's dormitory, Sazanami So, while his aunt, the usual caretaker, is traveling abroad. As his contract nears its end, Kousuke is troubled by one thing: Jinnai Mio, one of the residents, remains distant and refuses to try his cooking.
Determined to break through her reserve, Kousuke decides to prepare a special dish that was a favorite of the former janitor, hoping it will finally entice Mio to open up and share a meal with him.
