Takeru has been languishing in Lucefon's prison for over two decades, ever since the rebel army he fought with was defeated. But hope arrives in the form of an old ally, Marlena, who visits him with a groundbreaking plan. She sends Takeru back twenty years into the past, tasking him with altering the future by persuading the Marlena of that time to fully commit to the fight against Lucifon. Now in the past, Takeru, aged twenty years more than when he last fought, adopts the alias Etoh. He takes the lead of the rebel army, reliving the same battle he once fought as a child.
