According to an ancient legend, a tattoo drawn to perfection can come to life. Reiko Kure, a determined female detective, finds herself investigating a gruesome massacre. A mysterious, massive creature brutally killed thirteen mafia members, leaving only the silent Ema Nozomi at the scene. Ema is quickly placed under protective custody, but the horror doesn't stop there. Every man assigned to guard her ends up dead, and every woman is brutally assaulted. The only lead Reiko has is Ema's enigmatic tattoo, a flawless depiction of a demon, hinting at a deeper, darker mystery.
